School Rules
- All students must demonstrate the proper respect and courtesy for their instructors and fellow
students at all times.
- All students must take pride in their personal hygiene and appearance. Uniforms must be clean
and neat, nails keep short, and remove all jewelry, hair clips, pins, candy and other harmful items.
- All students must bow before entering or leaving the training area; shoes may not be worn on the
training floor.
- Students must refer to the instructors as “Sensei” at all times, in or out of the school. Black Belts
should be called Mr/Ms when leading a group or class.
- Students should greet Instructors with a bow and be sure to stand and bow each time an
Instructor enters or leaves the training floor (not to be done in the middle of a class in progress).
- Students must have permission to enter or exit a class in progress, from the instructor in charge.
- Students must wait until the end of a current exercise to adjust an untidy uniform or belt, then turn
to the rear and adjust it quickly.
- Students are expected to promote and support the school to the best of their ability, participating
enthusiastically in all classes and activities.
- Students must assist in keeping the school clean and neat at all times. Have pride in your school’s
appearance.
- Free sparring, throwing and grappling are not allowed without supervision from an instructor or
direct classroom instruction.
- All contact in free sparring must be controlled so as not to injure your partner. Absolutely no
contact is allowed to the face or groin area.
- No student may instruct directly or indirectly to any member or non-member of our school without
the expressed written permission from the director.
- No student may participate in tournaments, demonstrations, seminars or classes at other schools
without the prior approval of the Sensei at All Star Karate Academy.
- Students must keep all fees paid to date to participate in classes and activities, including; tuition,
annual membership fees, exam fees and other fees due and owing.
- Cell Phones: visitors should keep phones on silent or vibrate, talking on phones should be done
outside or in rear lobby quietly.
- Additional Rules may be added as needed by the director of World Class Karate as he sees fit.
- If any of these rules are not followed they will be explained to the student and/or parents. If the
student continues to break the rules they may be informed that they need to address the issue to
return to any classes and/or may be asked to discontinue classes.
