About Us
Our school was established in 1999 under the name World Class Karate.
In 2008 the name was changed to All Star Karate Academy.
We are located in Fraser, on 13 Mile Rd & Groesbeck.
All Star Karate is a family operated school. Our instructors (Sensei) are - Lonnie Shoemake,
Joseph Shoemake, Pamela Shoemake and William Elias.
Classes
We have classes for Young Children (4-6), Children (7-13), and Teens/Adults (14 & up).
Students have the choice of training as many days a week as they like. We have a very flexible
schedule and the best family rates!
We also have specialized classes including: Weapons (Kobudo), Black Belt Club,
SWAT (Special Winning Attitude Team), plus Special Event classes such as Tai Chi,
Aikido, Jujutsu, Arnis, Iaido (sword), etc...

Lonnie Shoemake, Renshi
Lonnie Shoemake currently holds the rank of Godan (5th degree black belt)
in both Shorinji Ryu Karate and in Kobudo (ancient weaponry) and has a
Renshi (expert teaching license from O'Sensei Richard Kim) and a black
sash in Tai Chi.
Joseph Shoemake, Sensei
currently is a Nidan (2nd degree black belt) in Shorinji Ryu Karate and is a
Shodan in (1st degree black belt) in Kobudo.

currently is a Nidan (2nd degree black belt) in Shorinji Ryu Karate and is a
Shodan in (1st degree black belt) in Kobudo.
